Articine is an educational nonprofit for healthcare providers

Articine's mission is to integrate the arts and medicine to inspire healthcare providers to deliver more empathetic and effective patient care. Founded in 2020, we have been very active and have won competitive funding from several organizations including NH Charitable Foundation, NH State Council on the Arts, and New England Foundation for the Arts (funded through the National Endowment for the Arts). So far, we have created productions focused on mental health, addiction and family dynamics, as well as programs focused on building resiliency for healthcare workers.

We have focused on action-based organizational growth and impact-driven programming by prioritizing strategic planning from the first year. Our organization creates performances about community health challenges and workshops that provide practice in empathy for participants while also providing continuing medical education credits for healthcare workers. While our target audience and direct beneficiaries are healthcare workers (including practitioners, providers and staff caring for patients in NH and beyond), our performances are also available to the general public.
