Dottie: A Film about Dementia & Emapthy
About the Session
The film Dottie, adapted from C. Robin Marcotte's theater play of the same name, along with its associated educational curriculum, serves as a professional education tool. It is specifically designed to provide healthcare professionals with a fresh and engaging way to access continuing medical education (CME).
Using realistic sets and honest cinematic storytelling, the film gives audiences an intimate understanding of dementia's impact on the brain. Since Dottie can be shared digitally for in-person or remote viewing, it greatly improves access for professional development, conference presentations, and medical residency curricula.
