Male and female actors performing "Shadows".

Our Mission

By telling human stories through performances and workshops, Articine integrates the arts and medicine to inspire healthcare providers to deliver more empathetic and effective patient care.

Our History

Articine was co-founded in New Hampshire in 2020 by two performing artists and one physician, and is proud to be an LGBTQ- and woman-led company. Articine integrates the arts and medicine to inspire healthcare professionals to deliver more empathetic and effective patient care to all. Our powerful theatrical performances coupled with professional development workshops targeting the healthcare workforce have garnered national attention and awards, and have reached over 3500 healthcare professionals across the country. Articine is one of only a handful of performing arts-based healthcare training nonprofits in the United States that offers Continuing Medical Education credits.
