Why Arts and Medicine? Empathy.
Through theatrical storytelling we encounter empathy. Take, for example, the difficult health topics of addiction or dementia. We’ve created theater around these topics that give them life in front of an audience. When the audience consists of community leaders like doctors and teachers, it produces reactions like these:
